Vote for 2009 community calendar photos

Postmark Ballots by September 26^th for Calendar Contest

It’s almost time to vote for your favorite photographs to be included in the 2009 Seasons of Our Mountains community calendar. The 24 semi-finalist photographs will be on display at Evergreen National Bank on Main Street in Evergreen from September 17 through September 26. Ballots will be printed in the Canyon Courier and High Timber Times, and are available at Mt. Evans Hospice offices at 3081 Bergen Peak Dr. as well as at the bank.

This contest is sponsored by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Evergreen Newspapers, Evergreen National Bank, and Mt. Evans Hospice & Home Health Care. A community-wide vote determines the 13 photographs that are printed as a full-color wall calendar. A special gift edition of the calendar will be available for purchase during the holiday season at area businesses, with proceeds benefiting Mt. Evans Hospice.

Funds raised will help Mt. Evans care for underinsured or uninsured patients as well as support numerous services provided by Mt. Evans, including grief counseling, transportation for patients to medical appointments, respite care for family caregivers, and Camp Comfort, a bereavement camp for children.
