High School Camp (9th - 12th grades)
This camp is ideal for students passionate about theatre. It caters to the student looking to add to an existing skill set or wanting to explore theatre for the first time. Students are exposed to Shakespeare, Improv, stage combat, stage movement, vocal production, laban efforts, dialects, acting for the camera and more. Special guest, Sue Knudten, offers a unique opportunity for campers – she is teaching a one day workshop on acting for the camera and voice-over work. Another added bonus – students leave camp with auditioning skills, as well as a monologue suitable for high school, college and professional auditions. This advice provides direction for a potential college search and includes information regarding theatre programs in Colorado and across the country. You don’t have to be looking to make acting your major to enjoy this course – but if you are – this camp can give you an exciting head start.
