"Songwriters' Workshop" (6th - 12th grades)
Anyone can write a song. Join this class and learn how better to write songs or polish something already written, no matter what the genre of music. Individual attention is given focusing on lyric and melody writing, chord development, song structure, tempo and performance. This class is designed to help cultivate and refine writing skills, as well as strengthen creative methods of composition. Playing an instrument is not a requirement. Final class includes a performance of songs written in class.
