Pem Dunn’s beautiful paintings from his recent trip to Patagonia are reminiscent of the paintings that the early 19th century artists and explorers of the West brought back to show to city dwellers back East. Like those early Bierstadts and Morans, these images show us a frontier that few of us have experienced.
