Event Description:
Mountain Resource Center is offering the Active Parenting Teens class for families with children ages 11 to 18. Parents will learn about issues teens face today as well as new parenting strategies. Topics include goals of teen behavior, communication, and advanced positive discipline skills for teens. Active Parenting Teens is packed with activities, discussion, real-world examples and feedback. You'll learn a proven approach to parenting teens, plus techniques and insights for overcoming parenting obstacles.
Location:
Classes will be held in the Community Room at Mountain Resource Center, located at 11030 Kitty Drive in Conifer.

3 classes on Saturdays Jan. 15, Jan. 29, and Feb. 12, 10:00am to 2:00pm

The class is FREE for families with an income of less than $75,000 and $60 for families with an income of more than $75,000.
