Event Description:

Colorado Preservation, Inc. is going on the road to present its documentary Our Living Legacy: Colorado's Historic Schools, featuring six school rehabilitation projects from across the state. One of the central goals of the project is to demonstrate that existing historic schools can be rehabilitated to meet today’s standards, save capital costs, provide economic efficiencies through their locations in walk-able neighborhoods, and be a source of pride to the district, students, and community. Presentations will include an overview of historic schools in Colorado and discussion of why they should be saved.
