The Center for the Arts Evergreen (CAE) proudly presents One Thing Leads to Things Leads to Another, a themed art exhibition curated by artist, Mark Nelson. 14 Denver artists will feature paintings, drawings and mixed media artwork expressing their individual interpretations on a common but quirky idiom.
?One Thing Leads to Another? is a phrase that expresses how one event sets up another event; good, bad or indifferent. The art in this unique show will encourage the viewer to explore how little things can lead to a big problem; how big things can lead to little consequences and everything in between.
CAE invites you to explore, to be engaged, wonder, laugh and ponder the art work presented in series, arrangements, sequences or simply just one painting that might have led to another.
Mark Nelson and participating artists will host a Brown Bag Lunch discussion on September 2 from 12-1pm in the gallery. Join us for this informative discussion on the artwork featured and develop creative themes of your own.
