The “Princess and the Pea” is taken to new heights… Nelson Conway and the StageDoor High School Company bring new life and energy to this classic tale. It’s a farce, and a spoof of a fairy tale, and is set in a royal court as Prince Dauntless — no Prince Charming — seeks a royal mate. This musical comedy, with music by Mary Rodgers, lyrics by Marshall Barer and book by Jay Thompson, Dean Fuller, and Marshall Barer, was written as an adaptation of the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale The Princess and the Pea.
