Based on the Gospel of St. Matthew, "Godspell" musically weaves together a series of parables about the life of Jesus. Godspell has remained such an important part of the modern musical theater scene because of its versatility in design and the opportunity to incorporate clowning, pantomime, charades, acrobatics and vaudeville, and more. Featuring some of the greatest songs of all time such as "Day by Day" and "Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord, "Godspell Jr." is a must-see for audiences of all ages.
