Event Description:
In our Prelude to Spring Concerts we proudly present a world premiere piece titled "Go" for chamber orchestra by Jessica Mays, a talented young composer and former composition student of Bill Hill’s from DU who now resides in New York City. Following this exciting premiere, be prepared to be dazzled by two Telemann concertos highlighting our principal oboist who is also one of ECO’s founder, Larry Beck; our two flute players Sharon Kent and Jesse Nava; and our principal bassoonist who drives to rehearsals/concerts from the Colorado-Nebraska border and is also a founding ECO member, Jeff Spielman. The Prelude to Spring Concerts will conclude with Haydn’s Symphony No. 104.
