Event Description:
The theme this year is "Cowboys" for this long-running summer day camp! Discovery Days is designed for children having completed Kindergarten through second grade. The program features different activities so that children who attended last year will find it just as exciting as first-timers. Children who attend will learn how a cowboy or cowgirl work, how to spin and throw a lasso, sing some cowboy songs, create their own brand, check out a chuck wagon, and enjoy many other experiences. Each weekly session runs from 9 to 11:15, Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday. Reservations are required for this day camp. For more information call Hiwan Homestead Museum at 720-497-7650.
