Event Description:
Grab your garden gloves, sharpen your diggers and join us for the 14th Annual Community Weed Day on Saturday, June 25 at Evergreen Lake from 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. Volunteers are needed to help keep Evergreen Lake a healthy habitat for native plants, birds and wildlife. We’ll start with refreshments at 8:00 am followed by weeding the perimeter of the Lake by 11:00 am. Pulling for Colorado has provided thank you gifts for weed volunteers.
Even if you can’t help with weeding, Weed Day is for you! Stop by our display of local noxious weeds or bring plants in for identification and control information. Evergreen Audubon sponsors Weed Day. For more information go to www.evergreenaudubon.org
