Event Description:
With its rustic Swiss appearance still intact, the Brook Forst Inn will be celebrating its 100th anniversary on October 17th, 2009. The formal dining room will be serving one of the original 1930's menus created by Edwin Welz. The celebration will also include the dedication of the historical landmark plaque, tours of the Inn, the opening of the Brook Forest Inn Museum which will display historical artifacts and pictures from 1909 to present. There will be a special brunch on Sunday, October 18th for those who have donated historical items and have historical ties to the Inn.
