Event Description:
Blue Spruce Habitat for Humanity is excited to announce that we will be offering Bridges Out of Poverty workshops for our local mountain communities throughout the year. Bridges Out of Poverty is a 6-hour interactive workshop designed to help participants create an accurate model of what it's like to live in poverty, understand the root causes of poverty and the hidden rules of each economic class, and learn about resources that help people get out of poverty. So if you are NOT living in poverty and would like to better understand the life experiences of those who are, please go to our website at www.bluesprucehabitat.org to register for this inspirational poverty education workshop. It's the first step to breaking down barriers, developing relationships, and supporting positive change. There are also mentorship opportunities available through this program.
