It?s National Skating Month and to mark the celebration, author, H.J. Towsley is reading and signing copies of her children?s book, It’s Okay to Fall, from 8:00am-10:00am at the Evergreen Lake House on Saturday, January 30th. National Skating Month is organized annually by the U.S. Figure Skating Association (www.usfsa.org) to celebrate the sport and attract new people to the wonderful world of skating. Typically marked throughout the month of January, this year the celebration is extended an extra month to help generate excitement for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games taking place February 12-28 in Vancouver, Canada.
