Event Description:
Center for the Arts Evergreen will be awarding their annual Arts in the School Grants at a ceremony on Wednesday, October 15th from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at the Art Center. The grants help to supplement many art programs at the schools in Evergreen and Conifer. The CAE Art Grants to the schools is a program we are certainly proud of, it gives our wonderful art teachers in the mountain community a chance to do something really special with their students, said Steve Sumner, Executive Director for the Art Center. Nothing makes us happier than to be able to give them a chance to do a little something off the wall or out of the box.Schools receiving grants are; West Jefferson Elementary, Conifer High School, Marshdale Elementary, King Murphy Elementary and Evergreen Middle School. The public is welcome and invited to attend this rewarding presentation.
