Ananda Academy of Dance - Wedding Dance Prep Class

Our wedding prep class is designed to help soon-to-be-wed couples, their family and wedding party, and friends to prepare for the big day. We'll introduce the class to the fundamentals of partnership dancing, including how to lead or follow, the dance frame (also called the dance embrace), how to hear the rhythm and tempo in the music, and much more. We'll also introduce the class to the most popular (and practical) dances for a first dance and we'll show the class a formal "entrance" and how to dip for a fun and romantic finish for their wedding dance. This is a basic class created for students who have little or no dance experience. For that reason, this is also a good class to learn basic partner dancing skills which can be used at any event where social dancing is included. Everyone is welcome!
