An Evening for the Arts - A Mexican Fiesta - October 14th
Just a reminder to get your tickets soon for our "Evening for the Arts". Seating is limited and is going fast!
This is going to be a wonderful evening of celebration and festivities. We will be awarding the CAE "Arts Person of the Year" award to Kate Loomiller. As many of you know Kate has been the driving force in developing and promoting Open Door Studios and other activities to promote art and artists in our community. She has also been involved in organizing an art display on an ongoing basis at Evergreen Bank for a number of years. This evolved from the early Open Door Studio concept. The Bank lets local artists show their art work there, and rotates the works and artists every few months. This is a great way to support our local artists. Kate has spearheaded this project for years. She has always been very supportive of the CAE and is well liked and respected by all the artists of our community. She is a gracious, fun, generous, fun, creative, and a really fun person who has a special gift in her area of expertise which is unique glass etchings. Please plan to come to the Evening with the Arts Fiesta at Christie's and support Kate.
