Join Evergreen Audubon members as we pass through 1.7 billion years of geologic history! Starting at the top of Red Rocks Amphitheater and ending up at Green Mountain, we will see some of the best geologic features the Front Range has to offer including a massive gap in the geologic record, the greatest mass extinction of all time, dinosaur footprints and bones, plant fossils, and the oil and gas producing Denver Basin.
We will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Evergreen Park and Ride, carpool down to Red Rocks. This trip will combine driving to a few different sites, a walk over Dinosaur Ridge, and a stop at the Dinosaur Ridge museum. Sign up with the leader: clbmanning@me.com, 303-905-0007
