Event Description:
On Saturday, October 1, 2011, from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M.the grounds around Hiwan Homestead Museum will be filled with colorful quilts and coverlets. Quilters from around the area loan their handiwork and family heirlooms to display in the area around the 25-room log mansion. This year there will be a special tribute to the Busy Bee Quilters, Hiwan's quilting group, active from 1975 to 2000. This event is free and open to the public. The Museum is located at 4208 S.
