Job Title: Community Outreach Specialist
Pay Rate: $16/hour

Location: 25871 Duran Ave, Conifer, CO 80433
Work Schedule: Primarily Monday and Wednesday at Aspen Park Vet Hospital (8:00 am - 3:00 pm). This position also includes some work-from-home hours and participation in off-site events (e.g. hanging flyers, manning booths, assisting with fundraisers, etc...). Estimating 24-32 total hours per week.

Job Summary:
The Community Outreach Specialist will play a vital role in promoting Aspen Park Vet Hospital and the ResqRanch within the local community. This exciting position involves a mix of on-site work at the hospital, remote work, and participation in community events. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with reliable transportation, a passion for animal welfare, and a knack for connecting with people.
Responsibilities:

Represent Aspen Park Vet Hospital and the ResqRanch at community events, including manning booths, distributing promotional materials, and engaging with attendees.

Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events and parties, contributing to the success of these vital initiatives.

Manage promotional items, ensuring adequate stock levels and requesting additional materials as needed.

Proactively engage with the local community to raise awareness of Aspen Park Vet Hospital and the ResqRanch's mission and services.

Collaborate with other staff members to support various initiatives and ensure smooth operations.

Contribute creative ideas for outreach programs and community engagement opportunities.

Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude while representing the organizations.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Genuine enthusiasm and excitement for the missions of the ResqRanch and Aspen Park Vet Hospital.

Self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to work independently.

A passion for connecting with people.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, for community events.
