Highland Haven Has a New Corporate Sales Manager

The Highland Haven recently brought on a new Corporate Sales Manager, but she is by no means new to the inn or industry. Allison Walker began working at the inn 15 years ago as a housekeeper and has continued to come back during college summers and in between jobs, she has now been at the property full-time since November of 2015. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Colorado State University in 2009. Her experience since then has not only strengthened her hospitality and special events knowledge but has also fostered her growth in other industries as well. Her positions with Marriott, Holiday Inn, the Evergreen Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Pines at Genesee all honed her event planning and hospitality skills.


The Highland Haven has seen noticeable growth in their corporate retreat business since Allison has taken on the position. Repeat groups continue to return and new clients are booking as well. Their meeting space has been utilized by groups ranging from intensive relationship therapy retreats to Fortune 500 companies annual planning meetings. Their ability to host up to 25 individuals in a variety of meeting spaces and lodging rooms makes their property an ideal place for a unique and private retreat in the foothills of Colorado.
