Annual Mountain Area Job Fair

Tuesday, April 25, 2017 l Aspen Ridge Church, Evergreen l 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Evergreen, CO – April 25, 2017 – Evergreen Christian Outreach (EChO) and Mountain Resource Center are once
again hosting the Mountain Area Job Fair at Aspen Ridge Church in Evergreen. The spring event, which is free and
open to the public, gives job seekers access to over 50 employers and over 10 resources from the mountain
community and surrounding areas. Employers from various industries attend the Mountain Area Job Fair to make
immediate hiring decisions, as well as build their applicant pool for future openings. The goal of this event is to
connect mountain area businesses with local job seekers and ultimately provide opportunities within our communities.
New features have been added to the event this year; including laptop kiosks for candidates to complete on-site job
applications, as well as onsite interviews. In addition, free childcare will be provided for those needing the service,
registration is required in advance as space is llimited and will be available on a first come first serve basis.
Mountain Resource Center and Evergreen Christian Outreach offer free workshops and individual support to help
fulfill the community’s job search needs. Programming includes; Resume Writing and Interview skills, Internet job
Searching, as well as a variety of computer classes throughout the year. Individual coaches also provide career
assessments, job application assistance, and one-on-one computer help. Both sites offer an extensive Career Closet with free business attire and will be offering Resume Reviews and Prepare for the Events prior to the Job Fair. In addition, TallGrass Aveda Salon and Spa will also be offering free mini-makeovers services to help put your best foot forward at Mountain Resource Center, Wednesday, April 19th from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.
