Nest Box Workshop
Explore the world of cavity nesting birds through a short presentation. After the presentation, build your very own next box to set up in your backyard. This is a great way to provide habitat and allow you to observe the birds that live in your neighborhood. You will need to bring your own power drill with medium sized Phillips-head and drill bits. Some extras will be provided if needed. Materials will be pre-cut and ready to assemble. 15 nest boxes are available. Only two builders per box please. The boxes are small and there isn't enough work for more than 2 people per box. For each box that you and your family would like to build, please register one name specifying one or two builders. (One name registered will equal one nest box) Ages 10 years to Adult (This program is designed for an adult learning level. It is not recommended for kids under the age of 10 years)

Divorce Club Warrior Workshop for Women
?Just wanted you to mark your calendar for this Wednesday, March 4th from 6:45 pm - 8:15 pm (this is the reschedule due to the snowstorm last week). Mannette Morgan will be presenting a workshop for us at the Mountain Resource Center about how to get yourself together before taking on, or even looking at, having a new partner! The thought alone is scary enough, but to actually think you might be out there looking again is terrifying. It won't be if you know yourself first. Even if you haven't even started your divorce proceedings, these are still valuable lessons and will help give yourself a new perspective on love, life and how you fit in your own world. If you haven't already, let me know if you can be there...

Want to deepen your love of the natural world, notice nature?s tiniest details, and spend time surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors? Then start keeping a sketchbook nature journal! Parents, please make sure to monitor your children's energy and interest levels during club outings to ensure that their behavior is conducive to a positive learning environment for everyone. Please bring the following items: ? Your own sketchbook, a pencil, and any other art supplies you would like to use. We will also have some art materials to share. ? Sturdy footwear, warm clothes, and a raincoat. If it is chilly, gloves and disposable hand warmers are helpful to keep fingers from getting cold while you are drawing. ? Sunglasses and hat ? Water ? An item to share at our potluck lunch. ? A backpack or shoulder bag to carry your supplies ? A portable chair, stool or sitting pad (optional but great to have if the ground is damp) ? Binoculars (optional) ? Junior Naturalists: Junior Trackers
Whether it's trying to identify prints or scat, figuring out who scratched up a tree or what's been stealing veggies from the garden, tracking is a fun skill to learn. With activities designed to help with skills in observation and deduction, Junior Naturalists will be able to identify animals by their tracks, utilize the skills of observation and critical thinking required of tracking, and record their findings in a meaningful way. Get ready to make your next trip to the woods or your own backyard just a bit more memorable. Ages 6-10 years with an adult. Get down and dirty while searching for tracks. Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Bring with you a notebook, pencil, and a small ruler or tape measure in order to record your observations. There will be an easy 1 mile (or less) hike during this program at Reynolds Park. You will meet the naturalist by the kiosk in the main parking lot.

Early Morning Edition Leads Group
Value
Compare the value of print advertising to word of mouth advertising. Most people are more comfortable doing business with individuals known to them or their friends. This is a great way to increase your word of mouth advertising and develop repeat business.
Great Referrals
A good referral offers the opportunity to do business with someone who is known to be in the market to buy your product or service. Referrals are not guaranteed sales; however they offer an opportunity to meet face to face with someone who is already interested in your product or service. Referrals build on your existing prospecting efforts. This expanded network is a great opportunity to add to your database of potential business.
Get Involved
The chamber leads groups are a good way to get involved with other local business people and embers can provide access to clients you would not otherwise be able to contact.
