Great Referrals
A good referral offers the opportunity to do business with someone who is known to be in the market to buy your product or service. Referrals are not guaranteed sales; however they offer an opportunity to meet face to face with someone who is already interested in your product or service. Referrals build on your existing prospecting efforts. This expanded network is a great opportunity to add to your database of potential business.
Get Involved
The chamber leads groups are a good way to get involved with other local business people and embers can provide access to clients you would not otherwise be able to contact. Also, members have the opportunity to advertise what specials, opportunities, and products or services they have to offer. Leads groups are a great way to create new business and generate new leads! Jeffco League of Women Voters meeting in Evergreen area
Truth, lies, money buys! Over the last four years, the Supreme Court has made several decisions that have drastically reduced all attempts to reform campaign financing. Sources estimate spending on ads for Senate, House and gubernatorial seats reached $1 billion in 2014. Many of these ads include false or misleading statements. The League of Women Voters believes these facts have negatively affected our democracy. Nation-wide only 37% of voters participated in this year's election. Therefore, across the country LWV has begun a three-year, in-depth study of what might be done to improve campaign financing. The study will look at the possibility of a Constitutional Convention to reform the process. Later it will focus on previous efforts to reform campaign finance and will also study the redistricting process that so distorts our campaigns. Six meetings are scheduled around Jefferson County to begin this study, including one in the Evergreen area. All meetings are open to the public.

Value
Compare the value of print advertising to word of mouth advertising. Most people are more comfortable doing business with individuals known to them or their friends. This is a great way to increase your word of mouth advertising and develop repeat business.
