Celebrate Small Business Saturday
with Moore Lumber & Hardware!
Stop by from 10 to 2 to visit with Santa and his elf!
Chef Jason of 5280 Culinary will be providing grilling samples, and we'll also be serving treats and cider!
There's also complimentary face painting for kids of all ages.
Most importantly, we are hosting a donation drive for Operation Gratitude
along with writing letters and making paracord bracelets for our armed forces.
We are collecting "Wish List" items to donate to Operation Gratitude, the 501c3 non-profit, volunteer-based organization that sends care packages to our military and first responders. Want to help? Bring by any of the following items to our collection drive on Small Business Saturday, November 25th at our Pine store during our Holiday Open House.
Knit hats & scarves
Cool ties or neck gators
Beanie Babies, Webkinz, Trolls, or other small plush toys
Paracord survival bracelets (we'll be making between 10 am and 2 pm)
Socks
Mini battery-powered fans
Mini flashlights
Batteries (AA & AAA, 4 pack or less)
Gum, mints, breath strips
Personal electronics: iPods, DVDs, CDs, video games, flash drives, earbuds, used cell phones/PDAs
Gift cards to chain stores, such as Ace Hardware, VISA, Mastercard
Personal care products: Lip balm/chapstick, toothpaste, dental floss, tooth brushes, deodorant (solid only, 3 oz or less), disposable razors (packs of 5 or less), non-aerosol shaving gel in tubes, individual packets of moist towelettes (30 wipes or less), hand/foot warmers, foot powder (travel size), Q-tips (small packs, 50 or less), facial tissue (small packs), mini sewing kits
Unused greeting cards or stationery
Operation Gratitude sends care packages to heroes in harm's way, new recruits upon graduation from boot camp, wounded heroes & their care givers, military children & families, veterans of all eras, and first responders.
