Event Description:
Explore Hiwan Homestead Museum's newest exhibit the evening of Tuesday, March 1st from 6 to 8 pm. Enjoy light refreshments and a special program to celebrate the history of many of Jefferson County Open Space's current parks. This is a reception for the exhibit's opening. No registration required. To get to the Hiwan Homestead Museum take I-70 West to Exit 252, Evergreen Parkway. Take a left off the exit ramp onto Highway 74 heading South. Continue on Highway 74 for approximately 6 ½ miles until Douglas Park Road. Take a left onto Douglas Park Road. Stay to the right, then at the ?Y? in the road stay to the left. This becomes Meadow Drive. Go approximately ¼ mile to Timbervale Drive and turn left to enter the parking lot.
