Main Street Gallery in Evergreen, has the pleasure of displaying the Cat Care Society's "Tails of the Painted Cats 2015" featuring 23 one-of-a-kind fiberglass cats, expertly painted by accomplished local artists.
As in past years, all but one cat will be available for auction – both online and at the gala – with a special, featured cat that can be purchased by raffle only. This year’s raffle cat, Dale Cat-Huly, was created by artist Carla Pawlewicz. To view all the 2015 painted cats and participate in advance bidding, visit: bidonacat.blogspot.com
The Cat Care Society (CCS) annual benefit, Tails of the Painted Cats (TOPC), returns for its fifth consecutive year to raise funds for the shelter’s homeless cats and community outreach programs. Auction of the painted cats occurs at the Gala Dinner & Auction on October 10, 2015, at Pinehurst Country Club. CBS4 Weather Anchor, Ed Greene, returns this year as Master of Ceremonies, joined by former-Mayor of Cherry Hills Village, Doug Tisdale, as auctioneer. Renowned Colorado plein-air and studio landscape artist, Cheryl St. John, served as jurist for this year’s "Tails of the Painted Cats."
