Name: Native Plant Week!
Date: April 19, 2020
Indian paintbrush
Event Description:

This week we will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day by proclaiming our Native Plant Week here in Evergreen!  A Native Plant is a plant that is a part of the balance of nature that has developed over hundreds or thousands of years in a particular region or ecosystem. This week let's celebrate the importance of Native Plants in our mountain community and habitat by planting native plants for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife.

Have you ever wondered what plants might attract certain birds or pollinators?  Learn more about Native Plants through the resources below and pick the plants that are right for you, your yard and your visiting wildlife!  Happy Native Plant Week!!

Please stay tuned on Evergreen Audubon's website for more information on upcoming Native Plant Workshops.
