Name: Middle School Improv Workshops at THE VENUE THEATRE
Date: June 4, 2016
Time: 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM MDT
Event Description:

Improv workshops for middle and high school will be instructed by our Dave Cameron on Saturdays, June 4 - July 23, with a joint showcase with the choirs onJuly 23rd at 1:30p. Here's what Dave says about improv: You might think improv games are fun, and you'd be right! But is that all they are? The art of improvisational theater is older than writing, and can be applied to as many areas of life as you want. Become more confident at job interviews. Be great at small talk. Improve your audition skills. Have more to talk about on first dates. Improvisation is theater for everyone. In this workshop, we most definitely will be playing games, but we also will discuss and learn how improv can be used in our daily lives. Come prepared for interactive sessions and leave your inhibitions at the door!

Again, cost for weekly choir (Thursdays at 1pm) and improv is $100 each or $150 for both. Minimum class size for each age group is ten.
