Have your little dipper join Evergreen Audubon this Fall 2018 for fun-filled nature classes that incorporate elements of STEAM to connect young learners to the natural world! The Little Dippers program is ideal for preschoolers, part-time kindergartners or home-schooled students between the ages of 4-6 years old who love nature. Students will have the opportunity to explore and connect to the outdoors and local wildlife in new ways through scientific and artistic learning. Lessons include creating works of art using natural materials, utilizing science tools, going on hikes, and participating in nature journaling.
Hikes will take place at Alderfer/Three Sisters Open Space park via the Wilmot Trail located behind our Evergreen Audubon Education Center. Please bring proper shoes for hiking, water bottle, sack lunch and clothes to be outside. An Evergreen Audubon staff member will be pick up students from Wilmot Elementary School and Preschool and walk them to our Education Center for those parents requesting it. Parents of students from other schools may drop their child off at our Education Center at 29997 Buffalo Park Road between 11:30am and 12:00pm.
