Event Description:
What do school students, veterans, single parents, retirees and people with mental illness or disabilities have in common? Sadly, many share the difficulties associated with simply getting enough food to eat and having a safe place to live. If you are concerned, join the League of Women Voters of Jefferson County for a panel discussion about the impact of homelessness and hunger in Jefferson County on Wednesday, Nov. 8, to learn about who is addressing the problem and what can be done to help. It is open to the public and free of charge. Panelists will include some of Jeffco’s leading advocates. There will be time for questions as well as information about actions that can be taken by individuals. For more information, visit www.lwvjeffco.org or call 303-238-0032.
