Hiwan Kids Hiwan Kids is a great, fun summer series at Hiwan Homestead Museum in Evergreen. Each program features hands-on activities and everyone makes a craft to take home. Archaeology for Kids Join us as we delve into the past and learn how archaeologists uncover its secrets. Practice excavation skills and use real archaeology techniques and tools to discover what archaeologists really do. Make a fossil craft to take home. Thursday, 30th July Native Americans Several Native American tribes have called Colorado home over the years, and their influence is apparent to this day. Join to see pottery, learn traditional survival and hunting skills. Thursday, 4th August Mysteries in the Grove Can you solve the mystery of Heritage Grove? Using science and simple detective skills we will earn the truth behind some strange goings-on. Tuesday, 6th August Outdoor Physics Fun Let?s play with science! There are lots of fun activities that help us all to understand simple science concepts and to have fun while learning. Participants will make an easy paddle-boat racer, a better paper plane and help make a potato cannon.
