Name: Have You Met Your Local Raptors?
Date: May 9, 2015
Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM MDT
Event Description:
Raptors are key indicators of ecosystem health. You can help protect our local raptors by learning to identify the species in local parks and where these raptors live and nest. Knowing their nesting cycles and understanding and supporting trail closures in our parks during nesting seasons can also make a difference. Drop by our Education Station at North Table Mountain Park to learn more about our local raptors and what you can do to protect them. You will find the naturalist near the kiosk in the main parking lot. Just look for the Education Station sign. Bring your interest, enthusiasm, and willingness to share your experience and knowledge. Registration is not required for this program. Please drop by anytime between 9am-12pm (noon) to talk with our naturalist.
