Event Description:
Join Free the Seeds! on March 7, 2020, 9 am-3:30 pm, at Flathead Valley Community College, Kalispell, Montana, for our 5th annual fair. This is a FREE community-powered event that encourages people to build a sustainable and resilient future through real seeds, real food, and real skills. The annual daylong fair features a giant seed swap, 40+ booths, 24 skill-building workshops, 4 panel discussions, and kids’ activities (ages 8+). Every aspect of the event emphasizes the importance of a strong local food system and each attendee’s role in it. Free the Seeds! is a program of Farm Hands - Nourish the Flathead, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
