Name: Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) for Caregivers
Date: March 3, 2022
Time: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM MST
Event Description:

Does your child experience intense or explosive emotions? Or have difficult behaviors that interfere with home, school, or friendships?

EFFT believes that parents and caregivers are uniquely positioned to support their child's emotional development. This free 4-week workshop will teach you emotion coaching skills to use with your child to help grow their own ability to manage their feelings and behaviors. The organizers are also offering an individual coaching session along with the course.

Steven Dieter, MA, LPC is the Director of Clinical Services for Forest Heights Lodge. Throughout his 27 year career, Steve has helped families and children grow their connections to one another, and to the world around them. Steve believes that there is no greater supportive connection than the one between a child and their parent or caregiver, which organizes his approach to emotional and mental health.

Sean Hall is a practicum student in the Masters of Arts Counseling program at Regis University.
