Brace yourself for Double Trouble: The Dark Side of the Evergreen Chorale, a slightly spooky choral experience on Friday, October 23 at 7:00 p.m. Arvada United Methodist Church, and Sunday, October 25 at 3:00 p.m. Evergreen Lutheran Church.
The concert features magical works by John Williams, Eric Whitacre, Ola Gjeilo and others, including music from Harry Potter, a haunting piece about Odysseus and the Sirens, a wild Haunted House selection and many more.
The 90 members of the Evergreen Chorale will perform under the direction of Artistic Director Christine Gaudreau with Principal Pianist Patrick Lee, string quartet, oboe and English horn and percussion.
As special guests, the Ralston Valley High School Select Choir under the direction of Kirsten Carpenter-Ortman is opening the program with their own "choral spook".
