StageDoor Theatre presents A CHRISTMAS MEMORY Directed by Jay Louden Bring the whole family for a staged reading of this treasured memoir written by Truman Capote. It is often described as a "tiny gem of a holiday story", and is a remembrance of a simpler time that captures the true spirit of Christmas. The adult narrator nostalgically remembers the Christmas he enjoyed as a 7-year-old boy with his “60-something” cousin. "It's fruitcake weather!", she shouts and thus begins an unforgettable portrait of an odd but enduring friendship between two innocent souls--one young and one old--and the memories they share of beloved holiday rituals.
