Event Description:
8th Annual Mountain Bowls LUNCH is a well-known Mountain Resource Center fundraising event. The community comes together to Paint Bowls and donate to our event - these bowls are given out as gifts to our event participants as a reminder of 'those in need'. The events feature SOUPS prepared by local area restaurants and a large silent auction (perfect timing for holiday shopping), entertainment and time to mingle with friends over lunch or dinner.

Mountain Resource Center's (MRC) 'Neighbors Helping Neighbors' has been serving the communities of rural Jeffco & Park counties for 26 years; with expansions into Clear Creek & Gilpin. We provide intensive case management & direct services ranging from basic needs assistance in times of crisis, to parenting and early childhood support; as well as financial, workforce, mental health, veterans, healthy living and food pantry support. Honorary Chairs of the Mountain Bowls Project: Bob Hawsey, Thrivent Financial and his wife Jeannie. Tickets available at www.mrcco.org on 8.29.16
