Evergreen Kid's Triathlon
Bring the kids to Buchanan Park Rec Center on Aug. 19, 2018, to swim, bike, and run! Children ages 5-13 challenge themselves in this non-competitive fun triathlon. It's a great way to end an active summer in Evergreen!

Distances and times vary by age group:
9:00 AM - Ages 5 - 6 (25 Yards Swim / .5 Mile Bike / 400 Meter Run)
9:20 AM - Ages 7 - 8 (50 Yards Swim / 1 Mile Bike / .5 Mile Run
9:40 AM - Ages 9 - 10 (100 Yards Swim / 2 Mile Bike / 1 Mile Run)
10:00 AM - Ages 11 - 13 (100 Yards Swim / 2 Mile Bike / 1 Mile Run)
Participants are encouraged to arrive at least half an hour before their start time. The kids will swim in Buchanan Pool, depending on age run around ponds or on the Pioneer Trail toward Elk Meadow. Then finish the race by riding their bikes around ponds (5-6 years old) or out and back on the Buchanan Trail.
