Tenth Annual Outdoor Quilt Festival

Hiwan Homestead Presents the Annual Outdoor Quilt Festival, Seeks Entries! On Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M., the grounds around Hiwan Homestead Museum will be filled with the colorful artistry of more than 100 handmade Quilts and Coverlets gathered from the Evergreen community and beyond. Quilters from around the entire area loan their handiwork to Hiwan Homestead Museum for the colorful display. The Museum will be open during this event and an array of quilts will displayed inside, Three quilts per person may be entered in this non-juried show, on a first-come-first served basis. Hiwan Homestead Museum is a 25-room log mansion constructed in the Rustic style of architecture. It is located in Evergreen at 4208 S. Timbervale Drive and is a Jefferson County Open Space facility operated through a partnership with the Jefferson County Historical Society.
