BLUE JEANS SEMINAR Woodblock Print Process & New Book "The Cimarron Cutoff"

Event Description
NEW DATE: 2/29/2012. Leon Loughridge, master of the reduction woodblock print process, will be giving a Blue Jeans Seminar Evergreen Fine Art Gallery on Wednesday, February 29, at 6:00 PM. He will give a short talk about the hand-printed and bound book that he published and will give a 30-minute slide show discussing the Cimarron Cutoff and the watercolor sketches he completed along the actual trail route. He will be able to answer questions about the laborious process he uses to produce his magnificent pieces, and the antique letterpresses he uses. The book will be on display at the gallery, as well as a number of framed prints from his book.
